Post 16 catch up - posted 3rd Jan

On Tuesday, 19th December the school welcomed back a number of its 'Class of 2017' to enable them to catch up with each other, their teachers and collect their A Level/BTEC awards. A festive Christmas buffet was laid on for the returnees. Whilst the school itself was winding down from 3 weeks of Year 11-13 Mock Examinations many of the university first year undergraduates were setting out to prepare themselves for their January examinations with a month long holiday ahead. Many of the students really enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with their 'old Year 13' peers as due to the varied number of Post-18 pathways  they had embarked on - many had not seen each other since Results Day on August 17th. The school hopes that many of these ex-students will return in the near and distant future to share their journeys and offer their expertise/ skill set with our current and future students.

One session will be on a Monday and another session will be Thursday – these sessions will not be solely based on football; they are cross-curricular opportunities interlinked with football.
