Introducing our Acting Headteacher
As you may be aware Mark Lloyd first announced his intention to retire by the end of the summer term 2017; and those plans were put on hold after Governors were asked to consider increasing the school’s admission number to 360 per year group and were faced with the prospect of managing the expansion of the school under the leadership of a new Headteacher; we write to inform you that due to a change in Mark’s health, he relinquished the role of Headteacher from 31st January 2017 in order to take up a new role looking after the expansion plans and finance with effect from 2nd February 2017.
We are therefore delighted to be able to confirm that one of the school’s Deputy Headteachers, Ms Jo Tupman, will take over as interim Head teacher, with effect from 1st February 2017.
Governors are confident that these changes will offer a seemless transition and stability at an exciting time in the school’s history.
