The Year 6 into 7 Parent Information Evening, which was due to take place on Wednesday this week will now take place on Monday, 29th June – same times and location. There is no need to re-book as your previous booking email will still be valid.
Dear Barking Abbey community, Thank you for your support during this unusual week in terms of extreme temperatures. Having looked at the forecast for tomorrow, please note that students may attend school in their Barking Abbey PE kit. As with other days, if you need your child to remain in school until the normal finish time of 3:00pm, please email the school office at office@barkingabbeyschool.co.uk stating their name and form group. Students who remain on site will be supervised in air-conditioned rooms. There will be no lunch service. Pupils in receipt of free school meals will be able to collect a lunch from the canteen during break or before they leave. Please ensure that your child travels straight home after leaving school and does not congregate at the Faircross shops. Thank you for your continued support.
