Football academy student-athlete makes his senior international debut

A huge congratulations to Abbey Year 13 student-athlete Kymani Nelson on making his senior international debut for Montserrat against Guyana in the Concacaf Nations league match. Kymani produced a fine display of shot stopping as he made a string of saves late on in the game.

Director of the Boys football academy Carl Emberson said:

“What a great experience for Kymani, we are all delighted for him. He has shown a tremendous attitude as a student-athlete at Abbey. Kymani has always wanted to develop his game alongside his studies. It just goes to show that you really can go from Abbey to senior International football in a very short space of time.”
